France's most undisputed presidential candidate is coming to place his bets on Berlin. Dombrance's electoral motto "For France To Dance" will certainly be adaptable to the Berlin crowd, which isn't so German anyway. Why he has chosen a tiny venue rather than his usual stadiums and festivals is a complete mystery. Maybe he wants to feel the real vibe of Berlin. We certainly can provide! In an unholy alliance, KitKat's Disco Bizarre queers are teaming up with UK's leading Discolypso crew and Berlin's Feinstoff to provide you with a completely satisfying Dombrance experience.
Dombrance's live spectacle alternates between moments of emotional depth and rough pure energy, thus satisfying every need of an educated music loving audience. Named after France's presidents across the decades, each tune is reminiscent of its time, from new wave over early techno to the wild electro and dark disco years. A political journey into music history, or a musical journey into the history of politics. Whichever way you think of it, you will be so blown away that you'll soon stop thinking about it. Dombrance recently released Double Trouble on the Discolypso label — a two-track EP supported by 8 remixes from some of the finest names in electronic music. Two of Dombrance's favourite remix engineers are joining the line-up: James Rod, the prolific dark disco producer and label boss of Golden Soul Records, and Freudenthal who co-authored Pardon Moi's hymns of the last indie dance decade. Also aboard is Badknife and the Discolypso Crew, supported by Disco Bizarre's Billy Idle and D.J. himself! All of that packed into a single night at 60 Hz! Friday, July 12, 2024LINE-UP:
